Being Free Comes Naturally is a new  brand with handmade products that I came across during the fabulous Rachel O Holiday Beauty Bazaar in December. After the Beauty Bazaar, I went from table to table to check out vendors as well as make some connections. As I was on my way out the door, I stopped at the last table filled with products, introduced myself to the owner of the brand, Rhonda who was happy to gift me with a few products.  Rhonda has worked with major cosmetic brands and she helped develop one of the first clear antiperspirants for the Degree Deodorant product line. Now, she has created her own line and I am here to tell you all about it.

The first product I tried was the Island Breeze Moisturizing Whip. This is a moisturizing whip for the hair and or scalp that can be used on wet or dry 2-3 times per week or as needed. It contains Shea and Mango butters, Coconut and Avocado oils as well as Pro Vitamin B 5 just to name a few.

Here’s what I like about it…it is very moisturizing but no so much that it leaves your hair greasy. It smells wonderful but it is not overpowering. A little goes a long way; it is very lightweight and great for dry scalp. It gives great shine and does not leave a build up on hair. What I really love the most is that all hair types can use it from relaxed to natural.

Here’s what I did not care for…because there are no directions on the label, I assumed it was a body cream when I first opened it so used it as such (don’t judge me, you have done it before too) LOL. After a few uses, I decided to go to the website and read up on the directions. It was at that time that I realized that it is just for hair but, if you have dry skin this winter, I would not dismiss using it on the body as it worked wonders on my skin.

My overall grade for Island Breeze Moisturizing Whip is 4.5 out of 5 smooches…MUAH!!! You can purchase this great cream for the hair on www.beingfreecomesnaturally.com for $12. This is a great product for a great price so head over now and purchase a jar!!!
