I received this lip-gloss from my monthly subscription of Ipsy.com. Ipsy is a really cool website where you sign up to receive a box of beauty deluxe size samples and full sizes with a different makeup glam bag every month for just $10…. yes, that’s right $10. When you sign up, you fill out a questionnaire according to your beauty likes and style and a beauty stylist will pull the products that match your profile for you to try.

Now that you know the basics, let’s get down to the 411 with the lip-gloss!!! Marvelous Moxie lip-gloss was created by bareMinerals also known as Bare Escentuals. They are recognized for creating makeup that is good for you by using 100% pure minerals in the ingredients. This lip-gloss contains botanicals extracts and antioxidants such as vitamins A, C and E that fight against environmental damage like smoke, smog and pollution. It is also infused with natural ingredients and exotic oils like Shea and avocado oils as well as murumuru seed butter, which prevents drying and helps to moisturize.

Great ingredients, right??? I know, but I bet you are wondering what are the pros and cons so, here you go… Pros: It feels really good on my lips because it very moisturizing. The cinnamon and peppermint oils offer a soothing sensation that kind of tingle but not sting. It provides great shine and oh, I love shine…the shinier, the better…LOL. I was able to get sheer to medium coverage and it lasts for a few hours. As with any gloss, you do have to reapply after you eat. I heart the applicator, it is slanted and it allows you to apply the gloss on the line of the lips. The best thing is, the color is universal which looks great on all skin tones.

The cons: Honestly, I don’t have any; it’s just that darn good (in my crazy Charlie Sheen voice) WINNING!!!

My final grade for the Marvelous Moxie Lip-gloss in Dare Devil by bareMinerals is 5 out of 5 smooches…MUAH!!! If you are interested in purchasing this gloss, you can go to ipsy.com or bareescentuals.com for $18. It is available in 12 shades and I think I am going to invest in a few more colors!!! Happy Glossing!!!
