Revitalize Your Eyes

I was first introduced to Masque*Ology in my November Birchbox delivery. Birchbox is monthly subscription service that mails a box of cosmetic samples to try based on a Q&A of your personality. What is Masque*Ology??? I am glad you asked…it is a line of specialty mask researched and developed by a group of chemist and dermatologist dedicated to improving how the skin reacts to environmental and chronological aging. They invented an easy effective way to deliver advance active ingredients to the skin in the form of a mask without overusing the product by delivering the correct amount. The aim is to deliver a tranquil experience within 20 minutes of wearing the mask and taking a few minutes to focus on you.

When I opened my box, I was excited to see a mask for the eyes that brightens, refreshes and helps to reduce puffiness. Sounds like a winner to me because I have not been getting enough sleep and I sometimes have luggage instead of bags under my eyes…LOL. The mask is made with gel mesh padding soaked in ingredients of hydrolyzed collagen to increase the skin’s elasticity while caviar improves and nourishes the skin, pearl powder keeps skin smooth, algae detoxifies and adenosine is an anti-inflammatory.

I applied the mask under my eyes and to my surprise I felt this enjoyable cooling sensation. I immediately felt the need to woosaah, relax and have some type of Zen moment!!! As I laid back, I took a couple and deep breaths and allowed the mask de-puff my under eye puffiness for 20 soothing minutes….Ahh, relax, relate and release!!!

I loved the cooling sensation and the sense of relaxation that came with it. I like that the mask is made of a gel soaked with ingredients; I didn’t have to apply anything extra or peel anything off. I liked that I did not have to wipe any excess product from the mask after I removed it and I loved the tightness that I felt as well as the brighter skin around my eye area.

They’re a several things that I liked however; there are a few things that I did not like… I did not like the size of the eye pads. I wish they were just a tad smaller so I could get a little closer under the eye area. My left eye feel a little irritated but nothing major, I think I may have gotten a little product inside of my eye because my right eye is fine.

My final grade is 4.5 out of 5 smooches…MUAH!!! I really liked the Revitalizing Eye Gel by Masque*Ology.
