A few months ago I was gifted a few samples of a brand by the name of Pür Minerals. Even though I have heard of the brand in the past, I have never had a chance to try it. So when my samples arrived, I was very excited to give them a beauty test drive. But before I put on my feet on the gas, let me stop and tell you a little bit about the brand.
Pür Minerals specializes in color correcting makeup and skincare. They focus on combining nature’s finest ingredients with the latest skincare technology. The skincare made to correct, prevent and interrupt common concerns for radiant results.
Hmm, products that correct common skincare concerns with the latest technology, sounds pretty powerful to me, so powerful that I had to put one of to the test. I tried their best selling face masque by the name of Dirty Girl Detoxifying Mudd Masque the masque formerly known as Mineral Mudd Masque. It’s an exfoliating masque for all skin types made with natural clays and soothing botanicals. But don’t let me bore you with all the details. Let’s get to The Glam it, The Slam it and My Final Grade!
The Glam: This masque is made with salicylic acid to sweep away the dead skin cells. It exfoliates, unclogs pores and eliminates excess oil all while creating a smoother clearer complexion. The best thing about the masque is that it did not dry me out or irritate my skin.
The Slam: I didn’t see too much of a clearer or smoother complexion. I think my skin looked and felt the same. My blackheads are still intact so I think it is safe to say that it did not unclog my pores.
My Final Grade for the Pür Minerals Dirty Girl Masque is 3 out of 5 smooches…MUAH. While I did not see a major change in my skin, I did experience some type of smoother complexion.
